Our Story

We're Owen and Nikka, husband and wife, destination wedding photographers!

We’ve been together even before we started taking photos — waaaay before we started taking photos of weddings! We consider ourselves just like any other couple — we enjoy traveling (especially trying out local food!), but we also love spending quiet times at home in Baguio.

WHY US?

We’ve planned our own wedding and have gone through practically the same things that soon-to-wed couples are going through — fretting about the weather, trying to stay within budget, wondering whether to invite this or that — so we’d like to think we carry with us a unique kind of empathy in every wedding we cover. We’ve grown so much as a couple, as photographers, and as partners in this craft in the nearly 10 years we’ve been doing wedding photography. We’ve been here long enough to know what photos are dearest to our clients and we deliver exactly those and more.

OUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE

We believe in creating honest photographs. We’d like our clients to look back at a photo and remember how a moment felt. If a photo we took elicits laughter, tears, or a smile, our job is done.

Aesthetically, we live for good light, sound composition, and vibrance. We embrace light and shadow equally, as they should be.

OUR PHOTOGRAPHY STORY

We started photography in college — a hobby particularly conducive in Baguio. We didn’t do weddings until around seven years after. Instead, we traveled! We were young and broke but we traveled anyway! We lived for cheap airfare and even cheaper hotels but we had the best time. This is why we consider travel photography our strongest influence in the wedding photos we make today. You can see select photos from some of our travels by clicking on this link!

More than the wedding aesthetic, the true beauty of a wedding lies in how good a time people have being a part of it! It is, after all, a celebration with everyone you love.
